On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, Andhra Pradesh Governor Justice S. Abdul Nazeer hosted a grand ‘At Home’ reception at Lok Bhavan in Vijayawada on Monday evening. The traditional tea reception was held in a dignified and celebratory atmosphere, bringing together constitutional authorities, political leaders, senior officials and distinguished citizens from across the state.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh attended the event, emerging as key attractions of the evening. The presence of leaders representing the executive, legislature and judiciary at one venue underscored the constitutional spirit and institutional harmony of the state.

Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer, accompanied by his spouse, personally welcomed the guests as they arrived at Lok Bhavan. The programme commenced with the police band rendering the National Anthem, during which all attendees stood in respectful tribute to the nation.

Among those present were Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, several state ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and other senior administrative and police officials.

Following the formal proceedings, the Governor, Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister stepped down from the dais and interacted warmly with the guests.
