Grand “Karpura Harati” performed at Kaleshwaram

A grand religious ceremony was held on Thursday at the renowned Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple in Kaleshwaram, where priests who arrived from Kashi performed the sacred Karpura Harati with great devotion and splendor. Amid the chanting of Vedic mantras, the Kashi priests offered Karpura Gowra Harati to Lord Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy. The entire temple complex reverberated with spiritual energy as thousands of devotees gathered, creating a deeply divine atmosphere.

The event provided a memorable spiritual experience to the devotees present. Devotees thronged the temple in large numbers to witness the sacred ritual. The premises were bustling with pilgrims, giving the occasion a festive and devotional feel. Vedic chants and auspicious musical instruments added grandeur to the ceremony. Temple authorities made elaborate arrangements for the comfort of devotees, including the provision of drinking water, well-managed queues and tight security measures.

Speaking on the occasion, temple officials appealed to devotees to participate with discipline and devotion to receive the blessings of the Lord. The officials stated that the grand event further enhanced the spiritual glory of the Kaleshwaram Kshetram and deepened the faith and devotion among the pilgrims. Later, the temple priest Phanindra Sharma honored the Kashi priests by presenting them with the holy tirtha prasadam of the deity.
