BJP MP Eatala Rajender on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Telangana government, comparing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s policies to the “erratic rule of Tughlaq”. During the BJP’s “Rythu Gosa – BJP Bharosa” tour in Nirmal district, Rajender alleged that farmers across the region were suffering due to poor procurement management and unrealistic crop purchase limits. Farmers were forced to wait for transport and procurement facilities and that the tenant farmers were facing hardships because of biometric verification rules linked to landowners, he remarked.

Questioning the government’s handling of maize, white sorghum and sunflower procurement, Rajender demanded that the Congress government fulfil its promise of purchasing every grain produced by farmers.

Participating in this tour were BJP Legislative party leader A Maheshwar Reddy; MLAs Ramarao Patel, Harish Reddy and Venkatramireddy; MLCs Malka Komaraiah, Anji Reddy, and AVN Reddy; along with local BJP leaders.
