In a celebration of music and unity, Hyderabad hosted on Saturday night “Rhythm – World’s Largest Djembe Drum Circle,” a Guinness record attempt which brought together up to 2,000 drummers performing in unison, creating a symbol of collective harmony and positive social change. The event was organized by “The Djembe Circle”, under the leadership of its Founder and CEO, Sai Kumar Yeleswarapu and took place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
The record attempt will be officially adjudicated by Richard Stenning, Official Adjudicator, Guinness World Records. Apart from Richard Stenning the event was graced by dignitaries, including Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana and renowned music director Anup Rubens. The initiative supported the “Say No to Drugs” campaign, encouraging young people to embrace healthy lifestyles, creativity, discipline and community engagement.
Sai Kumar Yeleswarapu, Founder & CEO of "The Djembe Circle" mentioned that the Guinness record attempt represented more than a milestone achievement-a celebration of unity and a shared commitment to building a healthier and more positive society.
