Heavy rains disrupt traffic

Heavy rains lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Tuesday, leading to waterlogging and slow traffic movement at multiple locations. Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Joel Davis, IPS, inspected key waterlogging points including Lakdikapul, Ayodhya Junction and PTI Masab Tank to review traffic management measures.

Traffic police teams were deployed across the city to regulate vehicle movement and assist commuters. The Joint CP advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and urged those on roads to drive cautiously and follow traffic personnel instructions.

Commuters were also asked to plan extra travel time due to delays and check Hyderabad Traffic Police’s official updates for real-time information on road conditions.
