Hyderabad hosts 32nd ISOI National Conference

The four day 32nd National Conference of the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI) being held at Hyderabad brought together more than 1,000 delegates from India and abroad to discuss the latest clinical techniques, treatment protocols and emerging trends in implant dentistry. The pre-conference program held on September 3 featured specialized hands-on courses enabling students as well as practicing dentists to gain practical exposure to advanced implantology techniques. The pre-conference was inaugurated by Nagarkurnool MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy, while the main conference was inaugurated by Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha. ISOI mentioned that the need of the hour is not only to make these advances available to patients but also to ensure that dental professionals are adequately trained to use them. Dr. Vijay Srinivas, Organizing Chairman, said that the participation of experts gives young dentists and students an opportunity to learn directly from leaders in the field and take that knowledge back to their practices.

Dr. Padmarayalu, Organizing Secretary stated that the objective of the event is to help students and young practitioners develop the skills required for modern implant practice.
