The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has a new Managing Director with Sarfaraz Ahmed (2009 batch) taking over, replacing NVS Reddy. This follows Telangana government’s appointment of NVS Reddy, IRAS (Retd.), as Advisor for Urban Transport for two years. Shruti Ojha(2013 batch), returning from study leave, is now Director, Women & Child Development. Krishna Aditya (2014 batch) Director, Intermediate Education is given FAC of Director, TG Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society. Kota Sreevastha (2017 batch) is the Joint Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA and is given FAC of the post of Secretary, HMDA.
