At the Challa Som Raj Ram Auditorium in the college, Chief Guest and eminent literary figure Nagasuri Venu Gopal on Thursday unveiled the innovatively designed IIMC College Diary. Chairman of the college and presiding officer Viswanatham, while speaking, revealed that since 2010, IIMC College has been initiating an innovative program—the college diary. 

He stated that a diary is a collection of unforgettable events in every individual's life. Former college principal Purnachandra Rao, who attended as the guest of honor, said these diaries are useful for gathering basic information for research.Nagasuri Venu Gopal, the Chief Guest, unveiled the diary and spoke, saying that when a person's penance and passion reach their peak, it yields results—and the creation of this diary happened in the same way. 

Later, college principal Kura Raghuveer the diary's creator, spoke, stating that for the past 16 years, the college diary has been released every year without fail, featuring some key theme. This year's diary includes life details of the country's pride-worthy top mathematicians and litterateurs, along with Chanakya quotes. He said that if even a 1% change occurs in anyone by reading the information in this diary, his effort will have borne fruit.
