The Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad, and the Chaderghat and Khairatabad Police conducted raids on brothel houses on Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of 18 illegal migrants involved in organized brothel operations.

The raids were carried out to curb the illegal exploitation of girls from Bangladesh who were being trafficked to India. The suspects were found running brothel houses and exploiting these girls for financial gain.

The raids led to the arrest of several individuals, including Rajat Mandal, Jalil Sardar, Bisti Gazi, Kamarul Shekh, Mohd Rony Khan, Mahbur Sardar, Arohi Mandal, and Mohd Bilal Riza Ul Shaik. Among the apprehended were also two minor girls who were rescued.

The investigation revealed that local brokers, including Kamarul Shaik and Azarul Shaik from West Bengal, were involved in migrating Bangladeshi nationals to run brothel houses in cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore.

They targeted financially vulnerable girls in Bangladesh, provided temporary shelters in West Bengal, and arranged Indian ID proofs. The brokers charged Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 for each candidate to migrate from Bangladesh to India.

The arrested individuals and rescued girls were handed over to the Chaderghat and Khairatabad Police for further action. The police registered cases and initiated investigations. The arrests were made by a team led by Inspectors S Raghavendra, M Raju, and S Rajasekhar, along with other officers from the Task Force and local police stations.
