India's first integrated oncology mfg facility to be launched in Telangana

CIRO Pharma Private Limited will inaugurate India's first fully integrated oncology manufacturing facility at Biotech Park Phase III, Karakapatla village, Markook Mandal, Siddipet district on Monday, July 6. Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, will inaugurate the facility. Minister for Revenue, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Minister for Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Damodara Raja Narasimha, will attend the event as Guests of Honour.

According to the company, the state-of-the-art facility has been designed to produce a comprehensive range of oncology formulations, including oral oncology medicines, sterile injectables, lyophilized powder injections and oncology softgel capsules, using advanced containment technology. The facility is India's first fully integrated continuous GEA manufacturing line for oncology formulations and is capable of manufacturing highly potent cytotoxic drugs up to OEL Level 5 standards.

It is supported by advanced Research & Development (R&D) and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) capabilities to serve regulated international markets, including the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The facility has already received WHO-GMP, PIC/S GMP, and EAEU certifications. CIRO Pharma currently holds manufacturing licences for 18 oncology products, nearly 20 softgel formulations, as well as nutraceuticals and food supplements.

This landmark facility marks a significant milestone in strengthening India's oncology pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities and reinforces Telangana's position as a leading life sciences and pharmaceutical hub.
