Innovations, stepping stones to progress: Collector

The District Collector of NTR district, Dr. G. Lakshmi Sha, has emphasized that new innovations are the stepping stones to the nation's progress. He stated that science fairs provide an excellent platform to showcase the scientific talent of students.

On Tuesday, the Collector, along with other officials, inaugurated the posters for the South India NTR District-level Science Fair 2025 at the Collectorate. Addressing the gathering, he announced that the science fair would commence on January 4 at the MK  Baig Municipal Corporation High School in Ajit Singh Nagar.

He further added that six projects from each mandal would be presented in the competition. Approximately 120 projects would be exhibited under categories such as teacher exhibits, individual projects, and group projects. He urged students and teachers to select innovative projects and strive to qualify for the state-level competition from the district level. He highlighted that new innovations not only fulfill the needs of the people but also contribute to the nation's development.

U.V. Subbarao, the District Education Officer, and Dr. Mainam Hussain, the District Science Officer, were also present at the event.
