IPA Samman Awards to honor financial professionals

The Institute of Practical Accountancy (IPA), a 33-year-old institution focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical accountancy skills, will present the IPA Samman Awards 2025 and 2026 at a function to be held at FTCCI on August 8. The awards will recognize professionals and educators who have made significant contributions to accounting, taxation and corporate governance .

The Lifetime Achievement Awards will be conferred on late B.V. Ramana Murthy, former President of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India; late Veera Reddy, founder of Sagar Cements Ltd and Prof. M. Sulochana, retired Professor, Department of Commerce, Osmania University. The Excellence in Accountancy & Finance Award will be presented to Dr. CA Ramakanth Tripathi, CEO of Jagapathi Investments Pvt. Ltd and  Vasudevan, CEO of Equitas Bank Ltd. Women achievers, including Prof. M. Sulochana, CA Aparna Surabhi, Dr. Sabiha Shareef and several commerce educators will be recognized for their contributions.
