‘Jail sentence inevitable for CM Revanth’

Former minister and Siddipet MLA Tanneeru Harish Rao said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who was caught red-handed in the cash-for-votes case, will inevitably face a jail sentence.

As part of the municipal election campaign, a rally was held on Monday at Ramdas Chowrasta in Medak, which was attended by former MLA Padma Devender Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy was behind the fire accident at the forensic lab and would soon be sentenced to jail.

The BRS MLA alleged that Revanth Reddy set fire to the forensic lab in Hyderabad to destroy evidence because the time to go to jail was drawing near. He accused that this conspiracy was carried out with the cooperation of the police.

Additionally, Harish Rao recalled that Revanth Reddy had made numerous commitments during the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections at the Komuravelly and Edupayala temples.

However, he noted that the Congress-led government has not fulfilled these promises even two years after assuming office.

He emphasised the importance of the municipal elections for the public, contrasting it with the interests of Congress and the BRS, and asserted that a loss in the civic body elections would compel the Chief Minister to honour his pledges.
