Japanese delegation meets Minister Vivek

A delegation from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan met Telangana Labour, Employment, Mines and Geology Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy at his chamber in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Friday. The meeting was facilitated by the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM). During the interaction, the Japanese delegation briefed the Minister on employment opportunities available for Indian youth across various industries and sectors in Japan.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Venkatswamy said the Telangana government is actively preparing the state's youth to seize global employment opportunities. He highlighted TOMCOM’s professional and focused efforts in creating pathways for overseas employment and enhancing the employability of Telangana’s youth. The Minister also expressed his admiration for Japan’s technological excellence and work culture. He remarked that he was impressed by the precision of Japanese machinery as well as the humility and discipline of the Japanese people.

During the meeting, LETF Secretary Dasari Harichandana delivered a comprehensive presentation on Telangana’s growth potential. She outlined various initiatives being undertaken by the State Government, including skill development programs, workforce upgradation, and international placement opportunities. Harichandana also proposed the formation of a joint working group between Telangana and Hiroshima Prefecture to further strengthen collaboration and expand employment opportunities.
