Jyotirlinga pilgrimage tour to begin on August 16

The Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train will begin its pilgrimage journey from Secunderabad Railway Station at 2 p.m. on August 16. This curated tour offers visits to prominent Jyotirlinga temples—Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, and Grishneshwar—along with Ambedkar’s Deekshabhoomi and his birthplace.

The route passes through Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, and Purna en route to Ujjain. Three travel packages are available: Sleeper class at Rs 14,700, 3AC at Rs 22,900, and another upgraded 3AC option priced at Rs 29,900 per adult.

Passengers will be provided three vegetarian meals daily and local transportation to all designated sites. IRCTC staff will accompany the tour in every coach to assist travelers throughout the journey. South Central Zone Tourism’s Joint General Manager Kishore Sathya called on citizens of Hyderabad to take advantage of this rare spiritual opportunity. Tourism Assistant Managers Venkatesh and Naresh Babu Orsu were also present at the announcement.
