In a compassionate late-night intervention, the Kamatipura Police Station personnel rescued a destitute woman found wandering in a vulnerable condition near Bahadurpura X Roads under the police station limits in Hyderabad.
According to officials, the incident occurred during the midnight hours near the Bakrid Checkpost, where the woman was noticed without clothes and in distress. Since all nearby shops were closed at the time, the police team could not immediately arrange clothing from outside.
Responding swiftly to protect the woman’s dignity, Kamatipura SHO B. Prasad Rao personally provided his own police uniform shirt along with a dhoti for her to wear. The police personnel also ensured she was given food, shelter, and protection at the checkpost throughout the night to prevent any harm or untoward incident.
The rescue and assistance operation was carried out under the supervision of Kishan along with ASI Anwar Hussain and constable Suman.
Passersby and motorists appreciated the humane gesture and timely response shown by the police team.
