Kangana lashes out at trolls targeting Aishwarya Rai

Actor Kangana Ranaut reacted to criticism surrounding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s look at the Cannes Film Festival and defended the actress against online trolling. Aishwarya, who attended the festival with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, wore a blue structured mermaid-tail gown for her first appearance at Cannes this year.

While the look received mixed reactions online, Kangana came out in support of the actress and called fashion a form of self-expression. Sharing Aishwarya’s photo on her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, “No woman owes anything to anyone. Ash looks great.” She also said people should get used to seeing older women on red carpets and added, “She is not here to please you. She is glorious.”
