Stand-up comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is back with the third season of his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, on Netflix. The first episode of the latest season, which featured superstar Salman Khan as guest, streamed on June 21 and several clips from the show have been doing the rounds on social media. Kapil became a household name with his acts and recently, his fees for the show has also been revealed.
According to a report in The Siasat Daily, Kapil charges a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore for each episode of the show. He has been charging the same amount since Season 1. The comedian had earned Rs 65 crore from the first season as it featured 13 episodes.
The report further stated that Kapil earned the same amount from the second season and his fees will be the same for the third season as well. If that's the case, Kapil would make a further Rs 65 crore, making his total earnings from this series Rs 195 crore.Meanwhile, TGIKS saw the return of Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda and Sidhu.
