“Kingdom postponed” to July 4th

The Telugu film “Kingdom” with Vijay Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, scheduled to be released on May 30th has been postponed to July 4th. As per a press note  released  on Wednesday, the makers said that they explored every possibility to stick to the original date, but recent unforeseen events in the country and the current atmosphere had made it difficult for them to move forward with promotions or celebrations.

“We believe this decision will help us present Kingdom in the best possible way, with the creative excellence and spirit it deserves. We truly value your support and hope to receive your love when we meet you at the cinemas on July 4” the makers said. They also thanked producer Dil Raju and actor Nitin for their understanding and support in making this change possible.

As per the makers,, Vijay Deverakonda takes on one of the most intense roles of his career and Bhagyashri Borse will deliver an intriguing portrayal. The film is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Cinematography by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan and editing by Navin Nooli.
