Hyderabad: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has urged the Union Government to take proactive steps to accelerate various road projects in Telangana.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, along with Congress MPs, including Suresh Shetkar, Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Raghurami Reddy and Government Special Representative Jitender Reddy, presented a memorandum to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Tuesday, requesting the expedited execution of road projects in Telangana.
The conversation primarily focused on the Central government’s support for the construction of a double-decker corridor road from LB Nagar to Hayat Nagar along the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway. Komatireddy also brought up the development of a greenfield highway connecting Hyderabad and Amaravati, in addition to several other significant matters related to the ambitious Regional Ring Road project initiated by the Telangana government.
