BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has assured Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) corporators that their loyalty and dedication to the party will be rewarded with additional posts in the future.
Addressing corporators at BRS Bhavan on Monday, KTR highlighted the opportunities arising from the upcoming women’s reservation and constituency delimitation. The meeting was convened to strategize ahead of the final GHMC council session scheduled for Tuesday.
KTR praised corporators for completing their terms without corruption or irregularities and acknowledged their significant contributions during the Covid-19 pandemic. He lauded their efforts in addressing civic issues and championing citizens’ concerns, especially after BRS assumed the role of opposition in the state.
‘I commend all corporators for their dedication, including during the Jubilee Hills by-election. Every corporator who supported the party will be considered for more positions in the future,’ KTR stated. The corporators pledged renewed commitment to the party and expressed determination to perform strongly in upcoming elections.
KTR also urged corporators to participate actively in the grand Deeksha Diwas celebrations on November 29. Former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav outlined preparations for the event and stressed the importance of recalling BRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao’s historic hunger strike in 2009, which was instrumental in the creation of Telangana. The meeting reinforced the party’s focus on rewarding loyal leaders while energizing corporators for the road ahead.
