Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has prioritized transparency and equal access by allotting Vaikuntha Ekadasi Dwara Darshan tokens through the 'e-Dip system', TTD executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal said, while responding to callers during the "Dial Your EO" programme.

The EO took calls from 23 devotees nationwide, many of whom praised the e-Dip system despite not securing tokens. Singhal said the Board opted for e-Dip this year to avoid past inconveniences and ensure fairness.

The monthly "Dial Your EO" programme was held at Annamayya Bhavan on Friday, where TTD Executive Officer A.K. Singhal briefed the devotees on upcoming arrangements and recent accomplishments before taking calls from pilgrims.

The EO detailed the extensive preparations made for the 10-day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan from December 30 to January 8, during which 7.70 lakh devotees are expected to have darshan. Of the 182 total darshan hours, over 164 hours are earmarked for common devotees.

Responding to requests to enhance quota for the elderly and physically challenged, EO said TTD must maintain balance across all categories.  To a query on local darshan, EO said January 6–8 are reserved for 15,000 local devotees of Tirupati and Tirumala. On requests to resume 'Parayanam' at Nada Neerajanam, Singhal assured that feasibility will be reviewed.

A Vizag devotee urged staff to greet devotees with "Govinda"; EO said it would be implemented. A Chennai devotee suggested millet-based Annaprasadam on Vaikuntha Ekadasi; EO said the idea will be examined.

Other suggestions included: stopping filmy songs on Ghat Road, early Annaprasadam service in compartments, improved queue-line management, waste management in Gogarbham, better sevak behaviour, and revival of TTD Kalyana Mandapams. On this occasion, Singhal said the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru at Tiruchanoor were conducted grandly from November 17 to 25.   Additional EO Ch.
