Lake Shore has unveiled its newest retail destination, Lake Shore Y-Junction, in Hyderabad, marking the company’s sixth operational asset nationwide and its first in the city. The launch strengthens Lake Shore’s pan-India presence and expands its portfolio of community-focused retail destinations.

Spread over 1.6 million square feet, Y-Junction is strategically located at the intersection of Balanagar, Kukatpally, and surrounding neighbourhoods, one of Hyderabad’s fastest-growing and densely populated residential areas. Designed as a large-format, everyday retail hub, the mall caters to the daily needs of its local community, offering a curated mix of shopping, dining, entertainment, and community spaces.

The development has received a Gold pre-certification from the Indian Green Building Council, highlighting its sustainability credentials. It is the first major mall in this micro market in nearly eight years, addressing a long-standing demand for a comprehensive retail and lifestyle destination.

Ashwin Puri, Co-Founder and CEO of Lake Shore, said, “Our objective with Y-Junction was to create a destination that feels intuitive, warm and deeply connected to its surroundings. This neighbourhood has long awaited a development of this scale, and we wanted to build a space that adds value to everyday life.”

Y-Junction features over 250 brands, including Lifestyle, H&M, Style Union, Max, R&B, Spar, Home Centre, and Reliance Digital, alongside more than 40 food and beverage outlets. The mall introduces Next and Baby Shop to Hyderabad for the first time, as well as a premium electronics brand making its city debut. The leisure offerings include a nine-screen PVR cinema, including an IMAX auditorium and a dedicated Kids’ Screen.

A signature feature of the mall is The Park, an open-air landscaped community zone on Level 5, designed for family activities and social gatherings with children’s play areas, seating, and outdoor activity spaces. With this launch, Lake Shore now operates over 6.3 million square feet across India, with more than 1,000 stores and annual customer visits exceeding 25 million.
