State Bank of India (SBI), in partnership with Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), inaugurated on Thursday the two month “FRAUD KA FULL STOP” cyber-awareness campaign being conducted from 02 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.The campaign was ceremonially launched across all six Administrative Offices and 27 Regional Business Offices of SBI in Telangana.
The inauguration was marked by blowing the conch, symbolizing the beginning of a State-wide war against cyber frauds. SBI reaffirmed its mission to protect customers by intensifying awareness at every touch point. As part of the initiative, SBI unveiled the Cyber Defender Program, deploying 355 trained cyber defenders across the circle(Telangana state).
They will engage customers twice daily in branches and conduct outreach programs in schools, colleges, RWAs, and communities to reinforce safe digital practices. SBI has been a pioneer in cyber-awareness in Telangana, reaching lakhs of citizens through SMS/email alerts, park activities, mobile awareness vans, plays, college programs, and town hall meetings.
More than 1,000 SBI staff participated in mass-awareness drives this year alone. These efforts have already helped branches prevent several Digital Arrest fraud attempts. SBI continues to strengthen its movement “Each One Reach Five & Teach Five Daily”, encouraging every customer and staff member to become a Cyber Ambassador.
