Hyderabad: Lakshman Arogyagramam, an initiative dedicated to promoting holistic health, healthy living, nutritious food, and physical and mental well-being, celebrated its first anniversary today.

The event was graced by Chevella MLA Sri Kale Yadaiah, former CBI Joint Director and HYDRAA Commissioner Sri A.V. Ranganath, Arunodaya Vimalaakka, and Suman TV founder Sri Suman Doody as the chief guests. Several prominent personalities from the film and entertainment industry, including actor Sapthagiri, Kirrak RP, fight masters Ram–Lakshman, and Vandemataram Srinivas, also attended the celebrations and extended their wishes to the organisation.

Lakshman Pudi, founder of Lakshman Arogyagramam, said that the organisation is working towards bringing a healthy lifestyle closer to the public, creating awareness about health and encouraging people to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives. He also added, “Lakshman Arogyagramam is spread across 8 acres and we would like small-film directors and producers to consider the village as a venue for their film-related activities. We are ready to provide them with all the necessary facilities free of cost, along with healthy food. This will also give them an opportunity to experience the environment, food and lifestyle practices followed at the Arogyagramam.”

Speaking on the occasion, HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath said that food consumed by the present generation is increasingly being affected by adulteration and unhealthy practices. He observed that several hotels and restaurants are supplying food without properly following food-safety standards and government regulations, which can have harmful consequences for public health. He mentioned the need for change and said that for the next generation, resources such as clean water and healthy food are more valuable than material wealth.

He appreciated initiatives such as Lakshman Arogyagramam for promoting nutritious food and natural farming practices. Through its initiatives, Lakshman Arogyagramam aims to create awareness about balanced diets, nutrition, preventive healthcare and the importance of lifestyle changes required for achieving holistic health and well-being. The organisers expressed confidence that the first anniversary celebrations would inspire the organisation to undertake several more health-awareness initiatives in the future and reach a wider section of society.
