Early Monday morning, a heavy lorry container (TS-12-UD-7999) overturned under the foot over bridge at NMDC turning, causing major traffic disruption in the area.

The accident occurred around 3:30 am. Two people were on board at the time. The driver, Ahmed (25) from Moosapet, escaped unhurt, while the other occupant, Mohammad Saifullah, sustained minor injuries. Both were assisted by the police, and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Asif Nagar Traffic Police reached the scene promptly after receiving the information and coordinated with the traffic control room to manage the situation. Due to the massive size of the container, a heavy crane was called in to remove it. The operation was challenging, but police and crane operators worked tirelessly to clear the road.

By 8:30 am, the container was successfully removed, and traffic resumed, much to the relief of commuters. Authorities urged drivers to exercise caution in the area and praised the quick response of the police and traffic teams for averting a prolonged gridlock.
