Actor Akhil Akkineni marries entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee in intimate Hyderabad ceremony

Actor Akhil Akkineni and entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee tied the knot in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony held on Friday in Hyderabad. The intimate event was attended by close family and friends, with pictures and videos from the celebration quickly making their way online. The wedding saw Akhil and Zainab dressed in elegant, coordinated ivory silk outfits. 

Akhil wore a simple, traditional pancha, while Zainab looked radiant in an ivory saree paired with diamond jewellery. The couple made their relationship official last November, announcing their engagement with sweet pictures shared on social media.The ceremony featured many prominent guests from the Telugu film industry. Celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, and director Prashanth Neel arrived early to be part of the baraat festivities. 

Akhil’s family was also well-represented, with his parents Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, cousins Sumanth and Sushanth A, and sister-in-law Sobhita Dhulipala present at the wedding.  A lively video shows Sushanth dancing enthusiastically, while another captures Akhil joining his father Nagarjuna and brother Naga Chaitanya in the baraat dance.  Nagarjuna appeared visibly joyful, beaming as he danced alongside his son.

Zainab Ravdjee hails from Hyderabad and is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, known for his construction business. Based in Mumbai, Zainab is an accomplished artist, entrepreneur, and perfumer. Though Akhil and Zainab kept their relationship mostly private, it is 

believed they dated prior to their engagement last year. Upon announcing their engagement, Akhil shared on Instagram, “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.” The couple’s wedding marks a new chapter as they begin their journey together surrounded by loved ones and industry peers.
