Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has unveiled the first teaser of his upcoming film Tu Meri Poori Kahani, set to the soulful track Yeh Ishq Hai Meri Jaan, composed by Anu Malik. Slated for release on September 26, 2025, the film marks a powerful musical comeback for Malik, who calls this album his tribute to melody and Bhatt’s faith in him.

Directed by Suhrita Das and starring newcomers Arhaan Patel and Hirranya N Ojha, the film promises a strong emotional narrative backed by a stirring soundtrack. Mahesh Bhatt praised Malik’s dedication, calling the track “a song from the soul” and lauded lyricist Shweta Bothra for adding lyrical depth.

The song, originally sung by Papon, was later re-recorded by rising star Raghav Chaitanya, after Malik’s insistence on crafting something even more heartfelt. Remarkably, Malik recorded the track at his own expense, rehearsing tirelessly even on Raksha Bandhan. He later called the 

song a “Rakhi ka tohfa” to Suhrita Das and Shweta Bothra. Produced by Ajay Murdia and Vikram Bhatt, with music by Saregama, Tu Meri Poori Kahani is expected to revive the tradition of emotionally rich storytelling combined with memorable music.
