Christian leader Jerusalem Mattaiah has called on the Christian community to boycott the Chief Minister’s 'Christmas dinner' scheduled for December 20 at LB Stadium, alleging continued neglect by the Congress government.

Addressing the media, Mattaiah said the government failed to implement promises made in its election manifesto, Minority Declaration and Christian Declaration, including welfare schemes, pilgrimages, and financial support for pastors.

He listed several grievances, including the non-implementation of the 'Jerusalem pilgrimage', denial of honorariums to pastors, lack of land for Christian cemeteries, delays in church permissions, and failure to appoint Christians to constitutional posts. He also criticised discrimination in Christmas gift distribution and the incomplete construction of Christian Bhavan.

As a mark of protest, he urged the Christian leaders attending the event to wear black flags and badges, giving the Chief Minister 48 hours to respond to the demands.
