TCA Medchal Urban and TCA Cyberabad districts recorded emphatic victories in the Telangana Gold Cup 2025–26 Central Zone League matches played at TKR College of Engineering & Technology on Monday. In the first match, TCA Rangareddy District posted a competitive 179 for 5 in 20 overs, riding on a blistering 95 by Gopi Varma, which included nine fours and six sixes. Sai Vamshi Varma added a valuable 47, while R. Shiva returned figures of 3/32 for Medchal Urban. In reply, TCA Medchal Urban District chased down the target with ease, scoring 183 for 5 in 18.5 overs.

V. Kalyan led the charge with a commanding 75, supported by S. Praneeth Reddy’s fluent 70. Ajay J picked up two wickets for 19 runs. Medchal Urban won by five wickets, with V. Kalyan adjudged Man of the Match. In the second encounter, TCA Cyberabad District put up 177 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. Narayanashetty Tejesh starred with a solid 75, while Md Zakeer Hussain chipped in with 30. B. Shiva Kumar claimed 3/24 for Vikarabad. TCA Vikarabad District struggled in the chase and were bowled out for 90 in 16.5 overs, with Sai Pawar top-scoring with 20. PD Saran (2/10) and GV Sai Kireet (2/22) shared the bowling honours. Cyberabad secured a dominant 87-run victory, with Tejesh named Man of the Match. The Central Zone league matches thus saw strong all-round performances, underlining the competitive intensity of the Telangana Gold Cup this season.
