Prizes Presented to Winners

Uppala Srinivas Gupta, Vice President of the Badminton Association of Telangana, stated that sports cultivate not only discipline but also leadership qualities in students. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the Medchal-Malkajgiri District Badminton Championship-2026 competitions held on Saturday at Delhi Public School in Nacharam. Serving as the chief guest at the event, Uppala Srinivas Gupta remarked that the sport of badminton fosters discipline, physical fitness, self-confidence, and leadership attributes among students.

He noted that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress government is prioritizing sports and providing comprehensive encouragement to athletes in every possible way. He added that the Badminton Association is striving to identify talented athletes at the district level and elevate them to the state and national stages. He further affirmed his commitment to supporting the association's leadership—specifically State President and Minister Sridhar Babu, and General Secretary Pullela Gopichand—in his capacity as the State Vice President.
