State Minister for Industries, Commerce and Food Processing T G Bharat said that the government will support the Arya Vaishyas in every way. In the wake of a member of the community being assaulted by a local sub-inspector at Podili in Prakasam district, Minister TG Bharat He spoke to the victim Avinash over the phone. 

He assured that the government will take appropriate action against the SI and made it clear to the victim Avinash that he should contact him (the Minister)  immediately in case of any difficulty. Minister TG Bharat expressed his anguish that such an incident had taken place and said that the government would ensure that Arya Vaishyas do not face any difficulties. 

He said that the government will always stand with the traders. He reminded that the government has renamed Penugonda mandal in West Godavari district as Vasavi Penugonda, the name of the deity of Arya Vaishya community.
