State Mines and Geology, Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra said on Sunday that the Masula Beach Festival 2025 held at Machilipatnam was visited by tourists in large and unexpected numbers and that in the coming days, this event would reach to the level of Goa and Sri Lanka with respect to beach tourism. The Minister said that CM Chandrababu has given direction regarding the conduct of the beach festival. 

Minister Kollu Ravindra responded to the derogatory campaign against women of the Amaravati region. "Vicious people speak such things and even if people reject them in elections, they are not ashamed," he said. Minister Kollu Ravindra said that such people do not have even basic respect for Women.

Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana said that the Machilipatnam Beach Festival is being done in a grand manner with kabaddi and volleyball competitions being organized.He mentioned that the gateway was constructed at a height of 80 feet in such a way that no one could move it for 10 years. He stated that priority has been given to exhibition of roll gold, kalamkari, etc..He recalled that 10 lakh people attended the beach festival held in 2018. And this time the government is expecting 20 lakh tourists to come.

Housing, Information& Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said that he had never seen the beach festival being held in such a grand manner even though he was a native of Krishna district.  If permanent arrangements are made here, a large number of tourists will come on a daily basis, he said and opined that the state's GDP will increase if tourism is developed.
