In a bid to accelerate the transformation of civil services in Telangana, a high-level team from Mission Karmayogi met Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The team briefed the Governor on the implementation progress of Mission Karmayogi across Telangana and sought his suggestions to strengthen the initiative further. Governor Varma extended his full support to the mission and commended the team’s efforts in driving administrative reforms focused on capacity building.

The delegation included Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Administration) of the Capacity Building Commission; Navneet Kaur, Director at the Commission; and Soumi Banerjee, General Manager of Karmayogi Bharat. Earlier in the day, the team held discussions with Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and senior officials from key government departments. The deliberations focused on creating a roadmap to upskill civil servants through digital learning and a competency-driven framework.

The Mission Karmayogi initiative aims to build a future-ready, citizen-centric bureaucracy by enhancing the skills, mindset, and service delivery capabilities of government employees. Telangana is among the states actively integrating the programme into its governance systems.
