MLA expresses confidence of victory

MLA Chintakunta Vijaya Ramana Rao made it clear that the Congress flag will be hoisted on Peddapalli Municipality. In the wake of the municipal elections on Saturday, he went door to door in support of Pastam Lakshmi in Ward 2, Erukala Kalpana in Ward 8 and Md Nadeem in Ward 9. Similarly, a roadshow was held at various junctions and he explained the development made during the last two years of Congress government.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that after the Congress came to power, the MLA recalled, crores of rupees were granted for urban development. He reminded that Peddapalli has been sanctioned a bypass road along with an RTC bus depot. Besides developing major roads, cement roads and drains are being constructed on the streets. The MLA also mentioned that the construction of an integrated market is underway and drinking water is being provided to all the colonies in the town, he stated.
