Moot Court competition valedictory ceremony held

The Valedictory Ceremony of the N J Yasaswy Memorial 10th Moot Court Competition 2025 took place on Sunday at ICFAI Law School in Hyderabad. The three-day national event, held from August 29 to 31, saw participation from premier law schools across India, offering a platform for budding legal minds to demonstrate their advocacy and research skills.

Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana, graced the ceremony as Chief Guest, with Justice Pulla Karthik, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana, as Guest of Honour. Prof. Dr. Y Pratap Reddy, dean, delivered the Presidential remarks, while Dr. Pujari Ravisekhararaju, Director, presided over the event.

Dr. Himavathi T, Faculty Coordinator, presented a report on the competition’s highlights. The dignitaries shared insights on mooting, legal ethics, and professionalism. Bharti Vidyapeeth New Law College, Pune, emerged as winners, Symbiosis Law School, Pune secured 1st Runner-up prize and Pendekanti Law College, Hyderabad secured 2nd Runner-up prize.
