Murthy new Chief Postmaster General of Telangana Circle

D S V R Murthy, an officer of the 1998 batch of the IPoS on Tuesday assumed charge as the Chief Postmaster General of Telangana Circle here. Murthy, a Computer Science Engineer, joined the Department of Posts as Indian Postal Services Officer (IPoS) on September 7, 1998, Assistant Director of Postal Services S Vijaya Jyothi said in a release.
He got promoted to Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) and worked as Chief Postmaster General, J&K Postal Circle from November 17, 2025 onwards till the transfer to Telangana Postal Circle, the release added.
