Dr. Satya Ratna, Medical Officer, Narsingi, visited the Hydershakote Primary Health Center on Wednesdy  to observe and participate in key public health initiatives and awareness programs.

As part of the visit, she conducted an awareness session on National Deworming Day (NDD), which is observed on 11th August, at MPPS School, Gandhamguda. The session highlighted the importance of deworming in improving children’s health, nutrition, and school attendance.

Dr. Satya Ratna also addressed mothers at the hospital as part of World Breastfeeding Week (observed till 7th August). She emphasized the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, stating that it not only boosts a child's immunity but also helps in reducing the risk of breast cancer in mothers.In her interaction, she also announced that NDD  awareness programs will soon be extended to all schools in the Narsingi area to promote early intervention and health education.
