06-10-2025 12:00:00 AM

The newly constructed building for the government primary and high school in Irrum Manzil, Hyderabad, is set to be inaugurated today. The inauguration will be led by District In-Charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, in the presence of MLA Danam Nagender, Mayor G. Vijayalakshmi, Corporator Vijaya Reddy, NIMS Director Beerappa, MIEL Projects Division Chairman K. Govardhan Reddy, and MIEL Project Manager Balabommu Nagendra Babu.

The school, which previously operated in an older building within the area now allocated for the NIMS expansion, now has a modern facility constructed by MIEL. The new two-story building features 40 classrooms, special rooms for headmasters, a library, and laboratories. It is designed to comfortably accommodate the current 400 students while allowing for the addition of two more floors in the future to support growing enrollment.

The infrastructure also includes upgraded facilities for extracurricular activities, a spacious assembly hall, and modern sanitation facilities, aimed at providing students with a more holistic learning environment. The project emphasizes safety, accessibility, and energy-efficient construction, making it a model for future school buildings in the city.

In addition, a new building is under construction for the Ravindra Niketan Aided School in the same locality, which currently has 200 students. This building has also been designed to allow vertical expansion in the future, ensuring that the school can accommodate more students as needed. Both projects are expected to significantly enhance the educational infrastructure in Erramanzil, supporting improved learning outcomes and creating a more student-friendly environment.

These developments reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening school facilities in Hyderabad and preparing for future growth in student numbers.
