Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a comprehensive review of the Regional Ring Road (RRR), Roads & Buildings (R&B), and National Highway projects at the Secretariat. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the urgent need to expedite the land acquisition process for critical infrastructure projects across the state.
“The Regional Ring Road is a pivotal project for Telangana's connectivity and growth. Officials must prioritize and complete the land acquisition process for this project without delay,” stated CM Revanth Reddy. He directed officials to fast-track the pending land acquisition for the Nagpur-Vijayawada corridor and set Pongal as the deadline for its completion.
Highlighting the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the Chief Minister suggested appointing a dedicated officer from the Forest Department and the R&B Department to resolve jurisdictional issues swiftly.
“The Forest and R&B Departments must work in tandem to ensure smooth and timely progress. Meetings should be held regularly to address and resolve challenges under each department’s jurisdiction,” he advised.
CM Revanth Reddy also stressed the significance of rural road connectivity in the state. “Every village must have a BT road connecting it to the mandal center. No village in Telangana should remain isolated due to a lack of road infrastructure,” he asserted.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to design road widths that cater to future needs and ensure that the new gram panchayats are also included in the road network plan.
To facilitate these developments, CM Reddy directed the release of funds in installments, ensuring timely execution of the projects. “Infrastructure development is the backbone of economic growth and social integration. We must act with urgency to provide seamless connectivity to every corner of Telangana,” he added.
