The Commissioner's Task Force, South-East Zone Team, along with IS Sadan Police, arrested five notorious interstate property offenders and a minor involved in a string of thefts across Hyderabad City and Rachakonda Commissionerates.
The accused were involved in temple thefts, shutter liftings, and two-wheeler thefts, and were arrested within three days of the latest incidents. The operation led to the recovery of two stolen motorcycles and cash amounting to Rs 17,104, with the total value of recovered items estimated at around Rs 4 lakh.
The arrested have been identified as Juvvala Tharun Kumar Raju (21), Dagarapu Ellyaajaru (22), Maruboyina Mavullu (19), Gandreddy Lokesh (19), Konala Rajji (18), along with a minor.
All are habitual offenders from Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh. The gang had conspired to commit multiple thefts after A1’s earlier arrest in May 2025 and subsequent release on bail in October, returning to Hyderabad to continue their crimes across several police limits before being caught on November 7, 2025. Police arrested the accused near Champapet on Sunday, recovered stolen cash, vehicles, and materials, and sent them for judicial remand.
