Medchal–Malkajgiri Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy has directed officials to review and resolve all petitions received through the Prajavani programme without delay. Addressing a grievance redressal meeting held at the district collectorate on Monday, the Additional Collector, along with Law Officer Chandravathi, received over 80 applications from citizens across the district.

Vijayender Reddy stressed that peovple approach Prajavani with the hope that their grievances will be addressed promptly and fairly. "We must live up to their trust and ensure timely and effective resolution," he said. He also warned against any delay in reviewing the applications and instructed officials to give detailed explanations when rejecting any petition.

He emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability, urging officials to clearly communicate the reasons for rejection to applicants. Additionally, he asked all departments to promptly upload the action taken details for each petition on the official portal.

The event saw the participation of district officers from various departments, all of whom were urged to treat Prajavani petitions with seriousness and urgency. The session reinforced the administration’s commitment to citizen-centric governance.
