In a heartfelt gesture, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan extended financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh to veteran actress Vasuki, known for her role in the film as Pakeeza, who has been facing severe financial distress.

The assistance was handed over at the Jana Sena Party’s central office in Mangalagiri by Legislative Council Government Whip Pidugu Hari Prasad and MLA Giddi Satyanarayana of P.Gannavaram, on behalf of Pawan Kalyan. Moved by the actress's difficult situation, Pawan Kalyan responded swiftly after learning about her condition just a day prior. Vasuki, visibly emotional upon receiving the support, expressed her deep gratitude. “I am forever indebted to Pawan Kalyan garu and his family. If he were in front of me, I would fall at his feet,” she said tearfully.

She recounted how she had reached out to the Jana Sena office only the previous day to explain her circumstances, and was touched by the immediate response. “Within hours, I received help. I never imagined such compassion and action,” she remarked.

This humanitarian gesture by Pawan Kalyan has drawn praise across social media and film circles, highlighting the continued challenges faced by many senior artistes in the film industry.
