Ahead of the SSC Public Examinations 2026, the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate has imposed restrictions around the examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the exams scheduled to be held from March 14 to April 16, 2026.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh issued orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) prohibiting assembly of five or more persons within a 200-metre radius of all SSC exam centres.
The restrictions will remain in force from 6 AM on March 14 to 6 PM on April 16, 2026.
Authorities have also ordered the closure of photocopy (Xerox) and internet centres within 100 metres of the examination centres during the examination period to prevent malpractice.
However, the order exempts police personnel, military personnel, home guards on duty, flying squads of the education department, and funeral processions. Police warned that any violation of the order will attract legal action under relevant sections of law.
