Punjab National Bank (PNB) inaugurated its 435th branch in Haliya, Nalgonda district, on Friday. The launch was led by Executive Director M Paramasivam, joined by Chief General Manager, Zonal Office, Hyderabad (CGM) Sunil Kumar Chugh and Circle Head Arvind Kalra.
As part of its rural outreach, PNB conducted programs at 200 locations nationwide, including a major Agri Outreach Program at Haliya. During the event, 25 sanction cheques worth Rs 60 crore were distributed under schemes like SHGs, Kisan Credit Cards, Agri Gold Loans, and Rice Mill Financing.
Over 200 agri borrowers attended, expressing appreciation for the bank’s timely support. ED Paramasivam highlighted PNB’s commitment to rural development and inclusive banking. A free medical camp was also held as part of the initiative.
