Pochampally Urban Cooperative Bank held its 53rd General Body meeting on Thursday in its Head Office at BhoodanPochampally, Yadagiri-Bhongir district. Dr. Kishore Nuthalapati, who is long standing Board of Management member of the Bank conducted Bank’s Profiling from risk management perspective.
Based on 20 key parameters, status and rank of Pochampally Bank was determined. He explained measures of Government of India and Government of Telangana in promoting Cooperative culture and UCBs. Of total 1447 Urban Cooperative Banks, Telangana has 48 UCBs. Out of all of them, Pochampally ranked top in having lowest non performing assets. The Bank has 11,500 plus shareholders, 110,000 client base, Rs. 575 crs business, 22 branches, and 200 employees.
During FY 2025-26, the Bank registered 41% growth in CASA deposits, 47% growth in advances, 134% growth in fixed assets, 38% growth in working capital, and 44% growth in net worth. The bank is lending 90% of its loans to priority sector against RBI stipulated 60%. The Bank has been paying 16% dividend to the shareholders on their capital contribution, which is among the highest in the sector. Dr. Kishore Nuthalapati was felicitated by the Chairman, Board and the Shareholders. The General Body also felicitated select Members for their contribution and support.
The meeting was presided by Chairman Thadaka Ramesh and moderated by CEO Seetha Srnivas. Kolli Ramgopala Rao, Board of Management members with other directors of the management were present. Societies Registrar Office head represented Government. Statutory Auditors and 1,000 shareholders attended the meeting.
