Afzalgunj Police have arrested a suspected automobile thief and recovered five stolen motorcycles. On 12 November, Manga Manideep, an 18-year-old student, reported that his Hero Passion Plus bike was stolen from Osmania General Hospital’s Dhobighat Parking. Acting promptly, the Crime Team of PS Afzalgunj, led by SHO N Ravi and Detective Inspector B Ravi Kiran, investigated the case.

On Monday, the accused, Kurva Naresh alias Potti Naresh, 29, a shepherd from Mahboob Nagar, was apprehended. During interrogation, he confessed to five motorcycle thefts. The recovered bikes include: Hero Passion Plus, Hero Honda Passion Plus, Hero Passion Pro, Hero Honda Splendor Plus, and Hero Splendor. The police have registered multiple cases under relevant sections and continue investigations to curb vehicle theft in the city.
