The sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad City, along with Karkhana Police, arrested two Ganja peddlers and three consumers at Dhobi Ghat in Karkhana who tried to sell Ganja in a car.

After conducting a thorough search, police found 1kg loose Ganja packet from Mohammad Sharik and further found 500 grams of Ganja (150 Packets) concealed in the Spare Wheel Stepney compartment. .

Arrested accused were identified as Mohammad Sharik (35), Love Preet Singh (28), Chandana Jaswanth (24), Yelasani Harish (27) and Sangi Sharath (35). Police seized a total Ganja weighing about 1.5kgs, five cell phones and a four-wheeler Suzuki car, all worth Rs 3,00,000. 

The Main accused person Mohammad Sharik Jalil Kureshi is a notorious rowdy sheeter of Chandrapur city, previously he was involved in criminal and Narcotic cases in Maharashtra state. Due to his habitual criminal activities the Sub-Divisional Magistrate has passed an order prohibiting him from entering Chandrapur city jurisdiction, Further he along with Mubeen (Main Ganja Supplier) planned to supply Ganja to local peddlers in the city to gain easy money.
