Telangana DGP Jitender said on Friday that Telangana Special Police will be upgraded to produce international sportspersons. The passing out parade of battalion constables was held in Yusufguda. In all 5 49 constables participated in this.

The DGP, who was the chief guest at the event, said that two international players have joined TGSP. One is Nikhat Zareen and the other is Mohammed Siraj. He said that he is proposing to set up a special training center to utilize them. He said that their goal is to train in boxing and cricket as part of police training and produce international standard players.

Proud to wear the police uniform: Nikhat

Speaking at the passing out parade of the First Battalion of Yusufguda, DSP and international boxer Nikhat Zareen said that it is an honor to wear the Telangana Police uniform. She said that wearing the khaki uniform has fulfilled her  dream. She said that till now, those who used to call her Boxer Nikhat are now calling her DSP Nikhat.

She said that the DGP has asked the constables who are undergoing training to also be trained in boxing. She said she will make the most of the opportunity given to her. Nikhat Zareen said that even police constables can be turned into Olympians and international players.
