Hyderabad police arrested two men and seized 6.25 kilograms of ganja at Secunderabad on Sunday. Acting on a tip-off, the Commissioner’s Task Force (North) team intercepted Gopal Dalai (28) and Saroj Kumar Dalai (20), both from Odisha, at Secunderabad railway station. Police said the duo had purchased the ganja in Odisha and transported it to Hyderabad with the intention of selling it locally. The seized ganja was recovered from their possession during the arrest. Police are investigating further to trace the sources from where the consignment was procured and identify other individuals involved in the distribution network. The case has been registered, and further legal action is underway.
